Specific results without specific actions?

Are you trying to lose weight? Most of us are….and most of us have a specific scale number that we are trying to reach. Just read the following true story of a client who approached me about the program ‘not working’.

Client: well, what have you got to say?

Jimi: say about what?

Client: I have been doing the program for 6 weeks and I haven’t lost any weight, so what’s up?

Jimi: well, tell me about your compliance to the program. Are you working out 4-6 times per week?

Client: well, sort of, on the days I’m not tired I am.

Jimi: ok, that’s a NO. How about the diet plan?

Client: yep, I’ve been following it.

Jimi: ok, tell me your average day…

Client: I go to work, but stop off to get a donut or two. Then, I usually get hungry around 10am, so I’ll get something out of the snack machine. Then I’ll go out to lunch with my coworkers. Then I’ll just something up in the evening since it’s too late to cook.

Jimi: (silent, can’t believe his ears)
